about

My debut album! Which received a ****-star review in Downbeat Magazine, jazz's leading publication, thanks to the efforts of our own David Kunian. I am very happy to be able to finally bring you this record directly, after years of simply being stuck on CD Baby. Happy listening, and hope you enjoy.

From the original liner notes:

"To my wonderful and supportive parents, Martha and Kenneth Walker, and my brother David.

To Brian Seeger, for being unfailingly generous with his time, expertise, generosity, kindness, and warmth.

To Brian, James, Simon, Oscar, and Doc, for helping to bring this music to life like no one else could have.

To Sam Wiseman, Trey Boudreaux, Chris Alford, Chris Adkins, Myles Weeks, Brad Webb, Jenna McSwain, Nathan Lambertson, Stephen Gordon, Cliff Hines, Andy Bourgeois, Paul Thibodeaux, Barry Stephenson, Jasen Weaver, Erin Demastes, James Westfall, Julian Addison, Larry Max, Chris Guccione, Nick Hughes, Rex Gregory, Jo Ann Daugherty, and Patrick Williams for helping and continuing to help shape the direction of this project.

To TR Johnson, Rachel Selice, Tracy Vicknair, and many others for their generous contributions in support of this record.

And, of course, to YOU, for taking the time to listen to this music that means so much to us."
